This is the second of two workshops in the Personal Climate Change Action series offered by ACE but you’re welcome to come along even if you didn’t attend the first one.
This is the chance to "walk the talk" on climate change with some easy tools for reducing our own household emissions. While it is most important that we have national and local government make big moves to quickly and steeply reduce our country’s emissions, personal actions are really important and immediately effective. It is empowering to actually see your own household emissions go down.
In this second workshop, the aim is to work out a track to take your emissions down to zero by 2050, or even by 2035, which may include offsetting, like tree planting, but most of it will be by making perhaps initially only subtle changes to the way we live our lives. These changes then build and build, taking us down to zero.
